How do I get out of a bunker?

For a basic greenside bunker shot, use a lofted club, set your feet securely, and make a committed swing that enters the sand behind the ball and carries sand onto the green. The goal is to move the sand under the ball, not pick the ball cleanly.

It matters in a greenside bunker with enough sand and room to send the ball safely onto the green.
